May Favorites: Here’s What Our Team Is Loving

At GSPR, we love sharing our product recommendations with each other, and now we want to share them with you! Here are some of our team’s favorites from the month of May.

Kristina, President at GSPR:

The Everyday Hero Manifesto (book) – When listening to my favorite podcast, The Ed Mylett Show, I was introduced to his guest Robin Sharma. The interview just stuck with me and inspired me to buy the book.  I loved every chapter; each nugget holds such good life advice.

DANI Gold Wines – Dani is a good friend of mine, and when she brought a bottle of her wine to a recent girlfriend lunch, I was all in. Not only do I love white wine, but DANI is easy to drink. It’s not heavy like some rich chardonnays I have steered away from. You can bring to a party, open effortlessly on a week night or serve at a dinner party.  It always works.

Four Sigmatic Mushroom Coffee, Perform – I have been a Four Sigmatic fan for years, and when they came out with mushrooms already in coffee, it was a no brainer. People always ask me if the coffee tastes like mushrooms. It tastes like real coffee but has the added benefits of immune strengthening mushrooms – you would never know it.

Augustinus Bader, The Rich Cream – I bought this a couple of months ago after hearing raving reviews. So far so good. I am drinking the Kool-Aid, but time will tell. It does have a nice rich, moisturizing feel. It is expensive… but what isn’t these days?  I will pay for results, so stay tuned on this one.

Triple Calm Magnesium – This is by far my most favorite supplement of all time. I started taking magnesium about 6 years ago when I was having trouble sleeping and having some anxiety. I have taken it religiously since then, but if I miss a day or two, I notice the difference right away.  Many people are deficient in magnesium, and this is a game changer. Make sure you take one with glycinate in it. The one I take is my favorite.

Sara, Senior Account Executive at GSPR:

WeCrashed Series on Apple TV+ – This show was done so well. Kept me on the edge of my seat. The story is fascinating too and can’t believe I didn’t realize all of this was happening with WeWork the last few years!

W&P Porter Coffee Mug – I ordered this cute pink mug after seeing someone post it on Instagram – the power of the influencer! The color and fun design makes me smile in the morning when I use it.

Charlotte Tilbury Flawless Filter – This can be used as a primer, highlighter or mixed with foundation. I use the wand to add a few dots to my forehead, nose, and cheekbones, then blend with a sponge. I like the natural glow it gives me!

Larsen at Hotel Laguna – This new chic + trendy dining/drinks spot is going to be a go-to this summer. Funny enough, the hotel isn’t open yet, just their sushi and beach-front restaurants. I love that this is a historical building that has been refreshed, redesigned and reopened – it’s right in the heart of Laguna!

Olipop Sparkling Tonic, Tropical Punch Flavor – I’m a sucker for great packaging when it comes to food/drinks. I’ve always loved the taste of Olipop and love their natural and clean ingredient list. This new flavor is my new favorite – I get mine at Mother’s Market!

Emma, Account Executive & Influencer Relations Manager:

VEJA Campo Sneakers – Before I found these sneakers, I was struggling with finding a pair of shoes that fell between casual and fancy. Wearing these with a casual outfit makes me look more put together and 'classy'. At the age of 22, I've noticed my wardrobe is evolving. I feel I've outgrown many of my sneakers that just don’t go with a work outfit... but these do!

Crew Hoop Earrings – I love myself a dainty pair of hoop earrings, and these crew hoops from Gorjana give a nautical vibe that I'm loving as we enter summertime! Gorjana is the best if you are a dainty jewelry lover like me!

Bright-colored sweaters – I was really loving wearing comfy, baggy sweaters this winter, and how easy they made putting together an outfit. I'm not quite ready to leave those behind... but I can leave the fall colors behind. With the brighter-colored sweaters, I stay comfortable at work with the AC blowing and appropriately dressed for the Zoom calls!

Clinique Face Lotion – This is an oldie but a goodie! I loved Clinique's Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion about eight years ago, and I rediscovered it when it was on sale at Ulta. I was out of my last face cream, which I wasn't totally in love with, and I knew this was a reputable one I couldn't go wrong with.

Dior Lip Maximizer – I feel like this one has been getting a lot of hype on TikTok lately – probably why I bought it? It's almost clear but has the perfect amount of baby pink color to bring your lips back to life. The tingly feeling of the plumping effect isn't too strong either. As a victim of permanently dry lips from Accutane, I am very picky with my lip products, and I love how moisturizing this one is. I enjoy pairing it with a lip liner – no lipstick necessary!
